At our company, we often hold “Lesson Learned” conferences after we fix issues or finish projects in order to improve our performance for next time.

今回の問題を再発させないために、社内会議用のLessons learnedをドラフトしてみました。
To prevent problems such as like those faced this time, I made a draft of “lesson learned” for our in-office meeting.

問題点

１．開発側（Development side)の責任者は、申請書（Submission document)を最終承認する前に、項目１つ１つを、実際に製造する側の責任者と
確認する必要がありました。
The development side’s manager needs to check all the points on the submission document with the production side manager before giving it a final approval.
２．また開発側の責任者は、日本特有の医薬品（Pharmaceutical drug)の規制と、製造環境が欧米とかなり違っていることを良く理解する必要がありました。
Also, the development side manager needs to understand the unique restrictions for pharmaceutical drugs in Japan. Furthermore, they need to understand the significant differences of manufacturing environment between US and Japan
３．また日本側でも、欧米（US/EU)との申請内容の違いを、しっかり開発側に項目の１つ１つまで伝え、理解してもらう必要があった。
Japan’s side also needs to communicate the differences of US/EU’s submission document to the developers, and have them understand every single point.
対応策
Solutions
１． 申請書（Submission document)を最終承認する前に、製造側と確認する会議を持つこと。

Have a conference with the manufacturers before giving the submission document a final approval.

２．開発側の責任者を日本に招き、Face to Faceで申請書（Submission document)を最終承認する前に、項目１つ１つを確認する。Check every point on the submission document before having the production manager come over to Japan to approve it face to face. またSite TourやLocalの
QA・RAと打ち合わせを持って、日本の規制や、製造環境についての理解を深めてもらう。Meet with the Site tour and Local QA/RA beforehand so the manager can have a full understanding of Japanese restrictions and production environment.（各品目ごと）
２． 日本特有の医薬品（Pharmaceutical drug)の規制や、製造環境について、一度レクチャーの機会を設ける。

Introduce a Lecturing opportunity about Japanese production environment and Japan’s unique pharmaceutical drug restrictions.
